2025 Columbus Heat

The Columbus Heat is a summer tournament team that will participate in 3 events during the 2025 Spring/Summer. The Heat will have an A, AA, and AAA team at each birth year (2017 - 2009). In addition, we will also field a U10, U12, & U14 girls Columbus Heat team. Players will be selected by an application process and will be offered a spot if selected. Each team will have a consistent professional coach, roster, and schedule for the 2025 summer. Represent Nasher and the Columbus Heat this summer!

Team

Consistent roster for each event.
Consistent coach for all 3 events.
Properly placed team level.
Roster will not exceed 15 skaters & 2 goalies.

Selection Process

Our coaching staff will review each athletes application to determine if they fit the criteria for the team. Columbus Heat staff can ask for coaching references, film, or additional information needed to determine proper selection. If an athlete is offered a spot they will have 2-weeks to accept or decline a spot for the 2025 Summer.

How do you pick the teams?

Our athletes come from all over the United States so we do not select our teams based off a tryout process. Our coaching staff researches each athlete and we make sure to do our homework before placing each athlete. We will look at video and contact coaches to make these decisions.

Do you need to stay in the hotels?

Yes, the events are "stay to play"
